Knick signal isolators and converters are used in hundreds of thousands of measuring circuits around the world – to prevent system malfunctions and to optimize operation through safe and exact signal processing. In Nuremberg at the trade fair for automation technology we will be presenting not only our tried and tested technology but also many brand-new products.
For example in the 6 mm class, space-saving as well as inexpensive: the ultra-compact series of active and passive standard-signal isolators, repeater power supplies, and signal doublers offers excellent performance data and extraordinary flexibility despite a housing width of only 6 mm. Even calibrated switching of the input/output ranges and Safe Isolation according to EN 61140 are available. With the ultra-slim signal converters or isolation amplifiers, many isolation tasks can be performed more inexpensively than ever without reducing safety or reliability.
For particularly strict requirements, Knick offers groundbreaking solutions and proves its capabilities as the market leader in signal isolation. For example, the new VariTrans® P 40000 high-voltage isolator works reliably and durably at voltages up to 3600 V AC/DC – at a test voltage of up to 15 kV AC. The new TransShield® technology, calibrated range selection, and the integrated 20 to 253 V AC/DC broad-range power supply make the device unique. High-voltage isolators are used for power and voltage measurements in drives e.g. of traffic systems with supply voltages up to 3000 V nominal voltage. An exciting series for your high-voltage tasks!
The development in decentralized automation without enclosures is exciting, too: The new DuraTrans® M12 standard-signal isolation converter with IP68 protection can be installed next to the machine by a simple plug and play method – just disconnect the M12 connector and insert the device. This allows problem-free application of standardized I/O and PLC system components. Also signal adaptation to different sensors and actuators is carried out with the rugged on-site converters, which provide signal isolation at the same time so that the input circuit is protected and parallel signals are prevented from influencing each other.
